NANOIONIX is part of the University of Connecticut’s Technology Incubation Program (TIP) located on the UCONN Healthcare Campus and collaborates extensively with faculty, staff, and students at the university.
The founders are Research Scientists in the Institute of Materials Science (IMS) with access to Innovation Partnership Building (IPB) resources.

Former CTO of ATMI (sold to Entegris, Inc. for >$1.2B), Corporate VP/Head of the Physical Sciences Division of SRI International, Director of the Defenses Sciences Office of DARPA, and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs. Larry has helped launch several materials- and energy-based ventures.

Former R&D and technical lead in energy storage and life sciences at consumer product and technology companies: Duracell, Procter& Gamble, ATMI, Entegris, Inc., IBM, Newell Brands, driving projects from research idea through development, product scale-up, and commercialization.

Chief Manufacturing and Product Development Officer
Former Senior Engineering Executive and Executive Chief Technologist at Boeing, Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Office at DOE, Director of the Defenses Sciences Office of DARPA, and Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Imperial College, London.
